WHO ARE WE?
Subtext is written and managed entirely by volunteers on a not-for-profit basis.
We’re here to provide an alternative to mainstream women’s glossies – a space that’s challenging, supportive and engaging. There’ll be plenty of much needed feminist critique too.
Subtext is a place where women can voice their opinions, sound off and promote the great things that they’re doing or that they respect in others. Men are welcome to join the fun too.

HOW DO I BUY SUBTEXT MAGAZINE ONLINE?
Subtext is £3.50 including postage in the UK or £5.00 including postage worldwide.
There are four ways to get hold of Subtext
1 Subscribe to Subtext
2 Order current or archive issues online using PayPal
3 Download our postal order form [pdf] to pay by cheque or postal order
4 Find us in store.
Spoken word copies
We produce a spoken word CD version of Subtext. Just pop the note ’spoken word’ into the optional comments section of the PayPal order form to receive a CD instead of a printed copy of the magazine. Please note orders for spoken word copies may take longer to arrive than printed copies.
How long will it take for my magazine to arrive?
Payments received via PayPal or postal order will be mailed out within 14 days of receipt of the order. If you pay by cheque we will have to wait for the cheque to clear before we can send out the magazine. This may take up to 21 days as we have to retrieve the cheques from the Po Box before we can bank them.
