From the London Feminist Network:

Time: 2-4.30pm
Date: Saturday, 10 April 2010

Radical feminist and academic Lynne Harne will give a talk on the development of 20th century feminism in the UK, with an emphasis on second wave radical feminism. She will take a historical approach to covering key feminist issues, looking at how radical feminism developed, its analyses, strategies and key achievements. She will bring along materials that will give a flavour of the dynamism and energy of radical feminism since the 1970s.
There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion!
Lynne Harne is a Research Associate at the Centre for Family Policy and Child Welfare, and co-
editor of ‘All the Rage: Reasserting Radical Lesbian Feminism’.
The venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
Unfortunately we are not able to provide a creche for this event. However, you are welcome to bring your children, provided you take them out of the workshop if they are noisy. We have booked a small second room on the same floor for you to use. Please let us know if you plan to bring your children and if there is need, we will try and work out a rota so that there is always a volunteer available to help.
We will be collecting donations in the region of £2-£7 depending on what you can afford. This is to pay for the venue and if any is left over we will put it towards the Feminism in London 2010 conference.
This workshop is for cis and trans women only
To book a place, please email info@feminisminlondon.org.uk.
