Date: April 9 – 11
Location: Tricycle Cinema, Kilburn, London

The Images of Black Women Film Festival returns this year with the UK premieres of Say My Name, a documentary about urban culture and musical movements from the Bronx to London’s Eastend where women fight to gain respect in their scene; Rain, a film about the Bahamas which isn’t all cruise ships and luxury resorts; My Nappy Roots, a journey through black hair-itage and Invisible Women, a film following young black woman looking for the faces of her communities reflected down from billboards of Paris.

I can’t find enough information about these films but managed to turn up the above trailer for Say My Name from Women Make Movies. Tickets are available to buy now from the Tricycle website.

Check out the full flyer here.
