A CHRISTMAS GIFT

Volunteering is something you can do all year round but one of my favourite Christmas vol spots is the Women’s Centre organised by Crisis for Christmas.

As always, the women’s centre in London is in desperate need of more volunteers – night shifts (the best ones) are often chronically understaffed. The best thing you can do is apply to volunteer now and they will put you where they need you.

At any time of year it is important for everyone to feel safe and secure, to be able to sleep easy for at least six nights in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with access to food and drink. Crisis can help supply this once a year – but they can’t do it without you. Join with solidarity women who have been confined to statistics.
